What Cops Know
Announcement due Tuesday in Cesar Laurean Case

Remember the case of the Marine who was convicted of murdering his pregnant co-worker and burying her body in his backyard?

Cesar Laurean, a Marine stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, was convicted earlier this year of killing Maria Lauterbach and burying her body in the backyard of his home before fleeing to Mexico. The FBI and Mexican authorities eventually located Laurean and he was extradited back to stand trial for Lauterbach’s murder.

Questions have always surrounded this case, and one of those addresses how much did Laurean’s wife, Christina, really know about the murder? After all, the killing itselftook place in their home.

DIstrict Attorney Dewey Hudson of the Fourth Judicial District says he will hold a press conference today,Tuesday, Oct. 26th to clear up that mystery.
